Corvette C3 of the Week
Randy writes: This is my 1977 L82 4spd which I bought last July. It was in fair condition with original engine that had just been rebuilt. After I put about two hundred miles on it, one day it started to overheat. I was almost home so I pulled over, let it cool then drove home. I noticed antifreeze coming out the exhaust. The next week I started tearing into it and found the block was cracked. I decided then to just go wild. I removed the body and did a total refab. I bought a ZZ4 long block and built it from there with the stage three kit, added the flares and hood and striped it to the glass and then painted it. I did everything myself in my shop. |
